AskTheGods.com is offered exclusively for entertainment, creative exploration, spiritual reflection, and educational purposes. By using this service, you explicitly acknowledge that:

• Conversations are generated by artificial intelligence — not actual communication with any divine being, deity, or supernatural entity

4. AI Technology & Content Sources

The conversational AI powering AskTheGods.com is built on Claude, developed by Anthropic, PBC — specifically the Claude Haiku model (claude-haiku-4-5-20251001) via the Anthropic API. System prompts have been developed with reference to verified primary sacred texts including: the Holy Bible (KJV), the Pali Canon / Dhammapada, the Bhagavad Gita / Shvetashvatara Upanishad, the Tanakh / Torah, the Guru Granth Sahib, the Tao Te Ching, the Kojiki / Nihon Shoki, the Avesta / Gathas, Homer's Iliad & Odyssey, the Prose & Poetic Edda, the Egyptian Book of the Dead, the Enuma Elish, the Codex Chimalpopoca, Comentarios Reales de los Incas, and Cath Maige Tuired. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors or interpretations that do not reflect all schools of thought within a given tradition.

5. Subscription Plans & Payments

Free Tier: 3 messages every 3 days, available to all users at no charge.
Sacred Access ($2.99/month): Unlimited messages subject to fair use policy, billed monthly via Stripe. Cancel anytime. SkyWeb Ltd. does not store your credit card information. All payments are processed securely by Stripe, Inc. Subscriptions renew automatically on a monthly basis unless cancelled.

6. Fair Use Policy

The Sacred Access subscription is subject to a fair use limit of 1,000 messages per calendar month*. This limit exists to prevent automated abuse and maintain service quality for all users. The vast majority of users will never approach this limit through normal conversational use.

7. Data Collection & Privacy

We do not collect any personal data from our users, other than what is strictly necessary to provide the service:

• Payment data — collected and processed exclusively by Stripe, Inc. SkyWeb Ltd. never sees or stores your credit card details. Stripe's privacy policy applies: stripe.com/privacy
• Conversation content — messages are processed in real time by the Claude AI engine (Anthropic, PBC) to generate responses. Anthropic's privacy policy applies: anthropic.com/privacy
• Usage data — anonymous message counting stored locally in your browser to enforce the free tier limit. No personal identifiers are collected or stored on our servers.

We do not sell, share, or monetize any user data. SkyWeb Ltd. complies with the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

8. Privacy Rights for California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a resident of California, USA, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

• Right to Know: You have the right to request information about the personal data we collect, use, and share about you
• Right to Delete: You have the right to request deletion of your personal data, subject to certain exceptions
• Right to Opt-Out: We do not sell your personal data to third parties — there is nothing to opt out of
• Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights

9. User Conduct

You agree not to use automated tools to scrape responses at scale, generate content intended to incite hatred against any group, attempt to manipulate the AI into violating these terms, or use the service for any unlawful purpose under Romanian or European Union law.

10. Limitation of Liability

AskTheGods.com is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. SkyWeb Ltd. is not liable for any decisions made based on AI-generated content from this service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 3 months preceding any claim.

11. Governing Law & Contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania and the European Union. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Romania.
